Second Harvest a huge sucess at LPE and LMS

Kelly McGeehan and the LPE Beta Club members would like to send a huge thank-you to all those who contributed to the Second Harvest Food Drive. LPE collected more food than any other school within the Lowndes County School system and the Valdosta City school system. The total collected by LPE was 3003 lbs. of food items. Your generosity in helping with this effort was overwhelming.

Lowndes Middle School recently participated in a food drive for Second Harvest. The LMS students and faculty reflected their community spirit by surpassing their original goal of 2,000 items and bringing in a total of 3, 280 food items. Dr. Terri Hundley’s homeroom brought in the most items, 388, and they will be treated to a pizza party sponsored by Second Harvest. The LMS Beta Club sponsored the event.
